Addictive Drums 2_Beats page - Overview

 AD2에 포함된 MIDI 파일 라이브러리와 함께 사용할 다른 MIDI 파일에 액세스 할 수 있다.
(Here you can access the midi file library included in AD2, as well as any other MIDI files you want to use with it)

그리드 검색 기능을 사용하여 "카테고리별" 또는 "이름별"과 같은 다양한 방법으로 비트를 검색할 수 있다.
(You can search for beats in various ways like “by Category” or “by name”, or even by the desired pattern using the Grid Search feature)

원하는 비트를 찾았으면 AD2의 Transform 기능을 사용하여 다양한 방법으로 비트를 조정할 수 있다.
(Once you have found a beat you like, you can tweak it in a multitude of ways using AD2’s Transform features.)

준비가 되면, 파일을 노래/편곡에 직접 끌어다 놓으면 된다.
When ready, just drag’n’drop the file directly into your song/arrangement.

1) 필터(Filters)

라이브러리, 카테고리, 이름, 템포 또는 박자 별로 필터링한다. 
(Search for beats by Library, Category, Name, Tempo or Time Signature.)

Beats 또는 Fills 또는 둘 다 표시하도록 선택할 수 있다.
(You can select to show Beats or Fills or both.)

라이브러리 드롭다운에서 외부 MIDI, 즉 AD2 사용자 폴더 내의 외부 MIDI 폴더에 저장한 모든 MIDI 파일을 표시할 수 있다. 이것은 자신만의 비트이거나 제삼자에게서 받은 비트일 수 있다.
(In the Library dropdown you can show External MIDI, i.e. any MIDI files that you have placed in the External MIDI folder inside your AD2 User Folder. These could be your own beats or ones you have gotten from a third party.)

Tempo 드롭다운을 사용하면 원래 템포에 현재 설정된 템포에 가까운 비트(+/-10% 또는 20%)로 검색 범위를 좁힐 수 있다.
(The Tempo dropdown allows you to narrow your search to beats that were originally made in a tempo close (+/- 10% or 20%) to the currently set tempo. This usually provides search results that feel more realistic, as drummers tend to do different things at different tempos.
드럼 연주자들은 다른 템포에서는 다른 것을 하는 경향이 있기 때문에, 이것은 보통 더 현실적인 검색 결과를 얻을 수 있다.)

2) 그리드 검색(Grid Search)

특정 킥/스네어 패턴을 찾는 경우 그리드 검색은 매칭 박자를 찾아내는 데 매우 빠른 방법이다.
(Grid Search If you’re looking for a specific kick/snare pattern, Grid Search is a very quick way to find matching beats.)

박자 그리드는 16번째 노트의 1 bar를 나타냅니다. Preset A-D 버튼을 사용
(The grid represents 1 bar of 16th notes - just “paint” in the drum hits you’d like to search for. Try the Preset A-D buttons as a starting point!)

그리드 검색 패턴을 만드는 또 다른 방법은 All Off로 시작하여 원하는 비트를 선택하는 것이다. 목록 또는 탐색 맵을 클릭한 다음 유사 버튼을 클릭합니다. 이제 선택한 비트가 만들어질 것이다. 검색 패턴으로, 유사한 비트가 나열된다.
(Another way to create a Grid Search pattern is to start with All Off, select a beat you like from the list or an ExploreMap, and then hit the Similar button. Now the beat you picked will be made into a search pattern, and hopefully result in similar beats being listed below.)

그리드 검색의 각 레인을 켜거나 끌 수 있어 검색에서 레인을 포함/제외할 수 있다.
(Each lane in the Grid Search can be turned on or off to include/exclude it from the search.)

더 좁히기 위해 스네어 레인을 사이드 스틱으로 전환할 수 있다. 하이햇 레인은 Open Hihat 또는 Ride로 전환할 수 있다.
(To narrow things down even more, the Snare lane can be switched to Sidestick. The Hihat lane can be switched to Open Hihat or Ride.)

The default mode for a lane is that it is used to search, but by clicking Replace, the lane actually becomes a grid sequencer and the hits you paint completely replace the notes in the playing midi file. Now you can force a specific kick pattern on any beat in AD2 for example.
(미디 파일 예를 들어 AD2에서 특정 박자에 특정 킥 패턴을 적용할 수 있다.)

(The ‘dots’ in the grid can look a bit different. In the default Search mode they can look like this:

• ● Orange with a tick: success - there is a matching hit in the current beat
• ● Orange without a tick: a hit that is searched for but not found in the current beat
• ● Gray: a hit that exists in the current beat that was not searched for

In Replace mode the hits in the current beat are not used for playback but it can still be interesting to see what the original pattern looks like. The dots can look like this:

• ● Red with a tick: there is a matching hit in the current beat
• ● Red without a tick: there is no matching hit in the current beat
• ● Gray dotted: a hit that exists in the current beat but not in the replaced beat

3) Main Beat List

This is where all your search results will be listed.

Selecting a beat here reveals one or more variants of that beat in the Variant List.

4) Variant List

All the variants of the beat you have selected will be shown here.

You can click the small dot to the right to mark a variant as a Favorite, and list all your Favorite beats by choosing Fav Beats in the Library dropdown or Beats Gallery.
(작은 점을 클릭하여 Favorite로 표시하고 Fav Beats를 선택하여 모든 Favorite 비트를 리스팅 할 수 있다)

5) Beat Info

Shows you which MIDIPak the beat comes from, as well as length and time signature.
비트가 어떤 MIDI Pak에서 왔는지, 길이 및 박자를 표시한다.

6) Beats Gallery

This view shows all the MIDIpaks we offer, and there are example beats from the ones you don’t own.
(어딕티브 드럼에서 제공하는 모든 MIDIpak을 보여주며, 본인이 소유하지 않는 것들의 예시 비트가 있다)

At the top there are four filter buttons:(상단에 4개의 필터 버튼이 있다)

● All Beats shows everything, (올 비트는 모든 것을 보여준다)

● Fav Beats shows beats you have marked as favourites(Fav Beats는 즐겨찾기로 표시한 비트를 보여준다)

● My Beats shows beats that you have recorded using AD2’s built in MIDI Recorder(My Beats는 MIDI 레코더에 내장된 AD2를 사용하여 녹음한 비트를 보여준다)

● XLN Beats shows all beats made by XLN Audio(XLN Beats는 XLN Audio가 만든 모든 비트를 보여준다)

7) Shortlist

Drag any interesting beat here to have quick access to it as you build your track

8) Transform

Addictive Drums 2_Transform

AD2의 Transform 섹션은 선택한 비트를 변경할 수 있는 강력한 도구이다. 조금 혹은 많이.
(The Transform section in AD2 is a powerful tool to change your selected beat. A little, or a lot - play around with it and see where you end up.)

각 섹션을 켜거나 끌 수 있으며 변환도 있다. 우측 상단 모서리에 있는 Transforming 버튼으로 원본과 변형된 것을 빠르게 비교할 수 있다. 비트 시각화는 박자에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 보여준다.
(You can turn each section on/off to compare to the original, and there is also a Transforming button in the top right corner that lets you quickly compare original and transformed. The Beat Visualization shows you how the beat is affected.)

벨로 컨트롤_The Velo contro

비트의 속도 범위를 압축, 확장 또는 이동할 수 있다.
(The Velo control lets you compress, expand and/or shift the velocity range of your beat.)

 Accents 노브

박자에 악센트(긍정 및 부정)를 적용할 수 있는 창의적인 방법이다.
(The Accents knobs are a creative way of applying accents (positive and negative) to your beat.)

랜덤 노브_The Random knobs

타이밍 또는 Velocity에 개별적으로 약간의 랜덤을 적용할 수 있다. 딱딱한 박자에 "살아있는"  휴먼적(인간적)인 느낌을 더할 수 있다.
(The Random knobs lets you apply slight randomness to the Timing or Velocity separately. Can add some “live” human feel to stiff beats.)

The Kitpiece Mix & Reassign section

각 키트 피스의 속도 레벨을 제어할 수 있다. 뮤트와 솔로는 관심 있는 부분을 분리하는 데 도움이 된다. Reassign 기능을 통해 아티큘레이션을 교환할 수 있습니다.
(The Kitpiece Mix & Reassign section allows you to control the velocity level of each Kitpiece, while Mute and Solo is helpful to isolate the parts you’re interested in (like browsing only hihats from all the beats). The Reassign feature lets you swap out articulations: you could replace a normal snare hit with a sidestick for example)

맨 아래는 속도(하프 템포, 더블 템포 및 기타 유용한 것)와 길이에 대한 컨트롤이다.
(Below are controls for the Speed (half tempo, double tempo and other useful things) and Length of your beat)

초기화 버튼이 있어 원래 상태로 되돌릴 수 있다.
(Finally, there is a Reset button so you can revert to where you started from if things get a little out of whack!)

Transport Section

Addictive Drums 2_Transport Section

재생 단추로 현재 MIDI 파일을 재생할 수 있다. 
MIDI Record 버튼은 edrum kit과 DAW의 AD2 트랙에서 직접 녹음할 수 있다.
(The Play button plays the current MIDI file. The MIDI Record button can record straight from your edrum kit, but also from the AD2 track in your DAW.)

."사이클" 기능을 사용하여 AD2에 비트를 기록할 때 DAW는 기록된 비트를 멋지게 잘라내고 루프 시킨다.
(By using the “cycle” feature in your DAW when recording a beat into AD2, the recorded beat will be nicely cut and looped. Your recorded midi beats will then appear in the Beats Gallery in the My Beats folder.)

Sync Tempo를 사용하면 속도를 DAW 호스트와 동기화할 수 있다. 동기화 재생/중지 기능을 통해 AD2가 추종된다. DAW transport, Mark 1st Beat를 사용하면 비트가 시작되는 지점을 "재동기화"하여 비트와 정렬할 수 있다. 

배열(예: AD2는 당신의 코러스가 시작될 때 4 바 패턴의 두 번째 바를 연주한다. 거기서 첫 번째 바를 연주하고 싶다면 - 코러스가 시작되면 Mark 1st Beat를 클릭하면 된다.) AD2를 독립 실행형 모드에서 실행할 경우

Sync Tempo allows you to sync the tempo to your DAW host. Sync Play/Stop makes AD2 follow your DAW transport. Mark 1st Beat lets you “re-sync” where a beat starts, to align with your arrangement (example: AD2 plays the 2nd bar in a 4 bar pattern when your chorus starts and you want it to play the 1st bar there - just click Mark 1st Beat when the chorus starts)

Tempo Sync는 기본적으로 120 bpm으로 설정되지만, 클릭하여 드래그 앤 드롭으로 변경할 수 있다.
(When running AD2 in stand-alone mode the Tempo Sync will default to 120 bpm, but can be changed to any tempo by clicking and dragging up/down.)

하단의 Beat Visualization(비트 시각화)은 현재 선택된 상태를 시각적으로 표현한다
(The Beat Visualization at the bottom provides a visual representation of the currently selected beat, with a marker that follows the beat as it plays.)
